Beth A. Drzymala

Nassau-With great sorrow, her husband and children announce Beth Burgess Drzymala entered into eternal peace on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Beth was born in Manchester, Conn on March 26, 1970, daughter of the late David Burgess and Christine Burns Burgess. She was a lifelong resident of the capital district. Beth graduated from Columbia High School in 1988 and furthered her studies at HVCC and then NYIT with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Beth was employed by Gilbane Building Company, General Steel and most recently, Picotte Companies. She enjoyed playing tennis and volleyball with her friends, hiking outdoors but her most cherished time was spent with her children and husband. She was involved in all of her children’s activities. Beloved wife of 22 years to Brian J. Drzymala. Loving mother of Maegan, Jessica, and Brice Drzymala. Daughter-in-law of Joseph and Lorraine Drzymala. Sister-in-law of Lisa Drzymala. She is survived by her brother, David (Nobulee) Burgess; a niece Kaitlyn and nephew Jackson; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to sincerely thank all those involved in providing care, compassion, and attention during her long battle with cancer especially to Dr. Collea and staff at NYOH. They also would like to thank the many friends and family who shared encouragement and prayers as she struggled to continue. Her resiliency in the face of a great struggle was her true strength. Due to Covid-19, masks must be worn at the services, social distancing and occupancy limitations will be observed. Family and friends are invited for calling hours to celebrate Beth’s life at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home on Thursday, April 29th from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Funeral will take place Friday in the funeral home at 10 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
