Amanda Morrissey

Morrissey, Amanda L. Cape May Court House, NJ. Formerly of Schodack, NY In loving memory of Amanda Morrissey, 40, who passed away at home on April 20th, 2017. Amanda was born in Albany, NY on July 12th, 1976. She was the daughter of Michael and Sandra Morrissey. She attended Columbia High School and Hudson Valley Community College. She was a free spirit who was known for her kindness and generosity to everyone she met. She leaves behind her mother and father, daughter Elise, brother Michael, sister Marcia Smith, aunt Sherry LeGare, uncle Roger (Marie) LeGare, uncle Andrew (Amy) LeGare, aunt Michelle (Wayne) French, uncle Ronald (Debbie) LeGare, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Andrew and Ruth LeGare, and her paternal grandparents Lewis and Edith Morrissey. A celebration of Amanda's life will be held on Monday May 8th at 6pm at Lyons Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lyons Funeral Home-Renesselaer, NY.
