Alejandro “Lalo” Reyes, 46, passed away suddenly on September 28, 2022. Born February 1, 1976 in New York City, Lalo was a graduate of Columbia High School, class of 1994, and RPI, class of 1998. At a young age, Lalo fell in love with baseball. Throughout his high school and collegiate career, Lalo excelled as a top-performing athlete. To date, he stands as No. 2 all-time in the RPI Baseball .500/.400 Club, with a .474 batting average during the 1997 season. While he had a passion for baseball, he met the true love of his life, Nikki, in 2005. Lalo and Nikki were married in 2010 and had three beautiful children – Stella, Emmy, and Trey, who were his everything. Lalo is survived by his adoring parents, Roberto and Delilah Reyes, his sister Delilah Jaramillo (Javier), and his brother Felipe (Andra). He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, his lifelong friends from the East Greenbush and RPI community, and family friends, the Twomeys.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 8, from 1:00-5:00PM at the Mohawk Golf Club located at 1849 Union St. Schenectady, NY.
